I think that the 7,000 IDF soldiers who signed this petition, did so out of love for their country and people. They were probably often right wingers, just like those who protest are often left wingers. Many of us wish that things were simple, good and bad, but the reality is that things are not.
Many leftists are under a deep delusion, that the media tells the truth, and that the poor are to be pitied, they do what they do because of inequality, and inequality is a result of racism of the privileged. Many leftists were never angry over illegal immigration, they were never angry over the inclusion of Arab Muslims in Jewish Israeli society. They did not see them as inherently hateful of Jews, motivated by culture, religion, or blood to hate Jews. Permanently, or very long termed.
What many of us right wingers saw as a problem, from a very young age, that caused us to rebel against the tv, the government, the Americans and the whole world, never happened for them. They continued to believe.
The other misunderstanding associated with this document, as I interpret it, is that some IDF soldiers, do not understand the degree of foreign infiltration that exists in the Israeli government and media. It is normal for big countries to dominate the political options of smaller ones. For the rich to dominate the poor. It is natural to arrange for politicians to pretend that they support representation, to enslave the people, on the cheap.
 It is also not normal for an entire people, even the Jews, to have the understanding of how the human society is managed. The people are probably not required to be sophisticated. It does probably help for them to study, beyond government approved books for the simple minded. We must protect and cultivate the good impulses of our people. We have all we need to complete our task, G-d willing.
The world used to be ruled by a pair of leftist white gentile superpowers. They were confused about how they felt about the Jews, and even supported the Jews winning some wars against the arab Muslims. Many of them still support Israel and the Jewish people. But today a great many of them do not. The resulting level of support from America, today would not support Israel taking land, even when Israel was attacked with the expressed deceleration of taking away land from Israel.
 The muslims can say they are going to deny Jews equal rights before the law, the Jews cannot react to it, or point out that they would accept peace and equal opportunity. The UN has laws saying that the defender from an attack can take land, but the moral standards of the people and nation of the world is very fluid, it changes from decade to decade. As does the popularity of Jews and all the other races.
 The moral standard of todays America, does not get angry at Arab Muslim rejection of the Jewish nation, or a multicultural Jewish nation, even if it is called Jewish nation for superficial reasons alone. The majority of younger Americans are repulsed at the Jews for having their own identity, for defending it, for thinking that they are entitled to be proud of who they are. They are not offended by Arab Muslim rejection of any nation calling itself Jewish, just like dozens of nations have Christian, Muslim, hindu, communist, and many more majority identities. They are ruled by their feelings, they are not believers in a good G-d, or emotionally inclined to support logic.
 They only get offended by Jewish identity, Jewish dominance, Jewish influence, because they are at war with Jewish rule over America, which they think is all encompassing. Therefore, a majority of Americans today, identify with the arab muslims who are at war with the Jews.
America is the dominant power in this world. The two major secondary powers, are openly racist against Jews, despite their fake media lying about it, an arrangement that has existed for thousands of years. What this means, is Israel is not permitted to win. As long as it celebrates its fantastic relationship with the Americans, as long as Israeli leaders lie about the truth about who the Americans are today.
Unfortunately, awareness of the depth of this situation is not something media in Israel educates young Israelis serving in the IDF about. So, we are stuck with simple narratives, easily manipulated. I hope this helps contribute to our cause. In G-d I trust.
I am dependent on G-d to make the people of human kind behave in such a way that requires us Jews to defend ourselves from them, to separate ourselves from them, so that their endless disapproval, can no longer force us to argue and fight with them unendingly. They cannot get it, we must force the conditions where they have no choice but to accept it. Aren’t we supposed to get the Jews to have faith in G-d? Maybe. Perhaps we can reach a level where we can prove His existence to them.
 Why make them suffer the tremendous amount needed in order to get them to believe? It requires being brought to the brink of destruction. A condition with a price when applied to a society and a nation. I want to protect the believers, not make Israel suffer, so the most leftist of women who should not be thought leaders in the first place comprehend the situation.
