Interesting to read an Israeli opinion piece calling for a return to deterrence, while a war is occurring against Iran. Perhaps the translator is not so good, it happens sometimes. Although I generally agree that deterrence and consequence is a good and rational posture for a nation to take, especially a hated people like the Jews, I would like to extend the discourse to include the fact that the Israeli English language media, as well as the American media, have not yet internalized the narrative that Muslim hatred of Jews represents an ongoing serious risk to Jewish people and the nation of Israel. I hope the Israeli media is better, but I do not know it to be so.
 The current balance of power, has certainly not included the influence of warring financial empires taking sides, backing Iran, and targeting Israel. As long as a threat is not recognized and repeatedly discussed, deterrence should be embraced with suspicion and doubt. Large percentages of Israeli Jews, have not yet internalized a dialog that acknowledges that people are human beings, biological creatures, with predictable inclinations and opinions. They are still influenced by the propaganda initiative to imply that the human being is a blank slate, that any opinion is possible, that personalities, nations and religions can be rapidly changed, if only the truths of the glories of peace and love are exposed.
The general population has not had the educational framework to recognize what are called traditional roles, like masculinity, dominating personalities, and aggressive national policy reflecting the preferences and perceptions of the men of the nation. Hatred of successful Jews is natural, and extremely common, especially among Arab Muslims. Creating an overwhelming inclination towards hostility to Israel. Israeli western media and education seems wholly inadequate, to measuring the Muslim people, measuring the morality that they face, the likelihood of good being embraced over evil, and how small that good step is from where Arab Muslim current thinking is.
 Long term damage should be thought of in consideration for what is best to do in that situation. Overthrowing the Iranian Ayatola, is a likely aspiration for such a setback. There are probably others. I am not certain how good it is for us to climb the escalation ladder, many of the discourse and free speech increases I have noticed in the media are very valuable. How does the future look, is still a calculation I cannot tell with precision.
 It does seem very much like a situation where Israel is under equipped, to deal with the likelihood of international boycott, western leftist nation boycott, and Iranian nuclear proliferation. To what degree can Trump harm and strong man Israel, to weaken it? That is not clear either, along with how motivated he is to do so. Boycott is probably deferable for now, probably, not certainly.
As things currently stand, I imagine the Iranian government will rebuild. Removing this government, while China still supports the current arrangement, might result in a similar or worse government, but I am inclined to think that a setback has occurred. We are still not there as far as recognizing that an Islamic threat exists, or that global finance will promote a voice for Jew hatred somewhere.
Interestingly fuentez said that what he does, will not be possible if Israel becomes the dominant empire of the middle east. Maybe that is the case in America, or maybe what he said is bs. In a certain way, I could see the end result that some interests are striving for, is a picture of Jews that cannot be criticized, fully utilizing all of humanities inclinations and tools, at the level of morality that humanity is at, rather than every moral that people can imagine.
Western nations have come out in support of Israel. I wonder how their populations are taking that news. Even the left wing American news is surprisingly supportive of Israel. It doesn’t seem to fit. Maybe the people are easily persuadable. I also wonder how goes the narrative of the Jew haters? Can they support Iran without exposing themselves? It would seem strangely out of place for them to support Iran, without exposing themselves as mindless Jew haters. Even the Arab Muslims seem a bit interesting when you consider what they must be thinking. Support Iran? Oppose Israel? It is said that the division between Sunni and Shite will dissolve at some point in the future. In G-d I trust.
