ד”ר צבי סדן טוען כי ההתנגדות החריפה למינויו של ראש השב”כ המיועד, האלוף זיני, אינה נובעת רק משיקולים משפטיים, כפי שמוצג במרחב הציבורי. לטענתו, מדובר במאבק פוליטי מובהק. מערכת המשפט מנסה לשמר את כוחו של רונן בר שהודח על ידי ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו. לטענת סדן, השמאל אינו מוכן לוותר על עמדות השליטה שלו במערכת הביטחון, גם במחיר של פגיעה בביטחון המדינה.
לדבריו, המאבק המשפטי אינו מנותק מההקשר הפוליטי והאידיאולוגי, אלא מהווה אמצעי של שלטון קבוצת מיעוט בתוך האליטה המשפטית, המבקשת לעצב את דמותה של המדינה על פי תפיסת עולמה. כך למשל, מזכיר סדן את עמדותיו של השופט יצחק עמית, שלדבריו מכיר רק בציבור “הנאור” – קרי, המחנה הליברלי המזוהה עם מחאת קפלן.
במסגרת תפיסה זו, מוסיף סדן, כל מי שאינו עונה על הגדרה זו – כלומר הציבור המסורתי, הדתי או הלאומי – מוגדר כ”לא סביר”, ולכן ניתן לדרוס את זכויותיו או לצמצם את כוחו. מדובר בעומק המורשת שהותיר אחריו אהרון ברק, ששאף לעצב מחדש את החברה הישראלית באמצעות מערכת המשפט. לדברי סדן, זוהי אינה רק שאלה של מינויים – אלא מאבק על זהותה של מדינת ישראל.
צבי הניתוח שלך יפה אך לוקה בחסר. ברק לא פעל בחלל ריק. הוא פעל בחלל שבו רוב השנים הימין היה בשלטון. וזה היה חלל מאפשר, מעודד, מאתרג. קולות שהתריעו זכו להתעלמות / כתף קרה / השתקה. רק הפנמה, הבנה והכרה עמוקה בתרומת הימין ומנהיגיו החל מבגין ז״ל ועד נתניהו יבל״א יאפשר להתחיל תהליך תיקון. נתניהו ממש לא שם. ולא יהיה. כך שהסיכוי להחלמה אינו גבוה.
The article I read about it in other sources, said that the IDF would withdraw, and declare an end to the war. The wording we read is important, and manipulated, but the article I read implied hamas would stay in power. Maybe they meant hamas would officially relinquish power, and accept exile, but without the IDF there, I am sure hamas will remain in power, and we will see them in their military outfits, either during the week that peace is declared, or very shortly afterwards.
Hamas does not fear or respect the Israeli left, or the west, and I don’t either. We all know that they cant deal with a real violent brown skinned men, willing to allow heavy casualties. They have the whipping hand, and they will shortly use it again.
Seriously, if the IDF isn’t in Gaza, whose going to make hamas fighters go into exile? Thank G-d, He made an enemy the left cannot defeat. The simple fact of the matter, is those women and men do not care about morality, they don’t care about truth, they have little concept of consequences. They would embrace happy ideas, and nice sounding words, through their lying leaders, till all the world was destroyed, if G-d let them. But He is kind, and He is forcing them and the people in control, to deal with reality. In G-d I trust.
I don’t think you have a clear perspective on the big picture about how the world works. America is given, its standard of living, as of result of it leading stability in the world, of it allowing a viable outlet for free speech to continue. It is an outlet for Jewish economic contributions. Maybe, chosen for investment is a nicer way to put it.
If America was to break with its commitment to be a ‘fair’ nation, its economy would take a hit, its ability to maintain multiculturalism would collapse, the Jews would be kicked out of America, officially or unofficially, and tyranny would conquer the nation, until the Jews of Israel saved America, again.
That is part of the reason that white gentile leaders of America, chose to allow non whites into America, because that is what Americans need in order to continue the conversation pertaining to race relations. They can either talk it out, or things can be worse. If the people of America stand up to those who dont share their values, and insist on separating themselves from them, then good, problem solved. If they fail to do so, the dictatorship can do whatever they want, after they get rid of the veterans, and other good Americans, willing to stand and fight.
I hope you reconsider your relationship with the Jews. We are all born into this bad situation, and it sure does look like things would be much better if we worked together to defeat the ignorant and immoral among our people. In G-d I trust.
There are smart people, who have influence on the world, they wont let some nation win, because they would rather avoid the fight. Hows the religious saying go, you are neither hot nor cold, G-d will vomit you out.
