If Israel only bought itself a few years of reprieve from a nuclear Iran, that will have considerable geopolitical ramifications. Despite Israels critics, setting back an Islamic theocracy attaining nukes for a few years is in fact a moral act, even if it causes America some inconvenience it has to deal with in the world. Like pretending that you had a deal that turned the aspiring nuke powered jihadis into the religion of peace your media and people love to pretend they are.
I realize it might not make sense, but the Arab Muslims are not leading the charge to get nukes. That is the situation, regardless of what impression they make to their people and the world. There are several dozen Arab Muslim nations, who could get nuclear weapons if they wanted to, doing so would force Europe, and probably America, to admit that north African Arab Muslim nations doing so, was unacceptable. Regardless, they are not pursuing that objective. Therefore, it is much more common and possible than we realize that Muslim nations can be dissuaded from going nuclear.
I bet if Gulf nations all got nukes, they could renegotiate their oil deals with the west, which would also invoke American military action, regardless of what the Jews of Israel were up to. In G-d I trust.
