Think of it like Jews and puppet governments of ancient Israel, praying to false idols, at times placed in the Temple on the Mount. They are declaring their allegiance to the anti Jewish gentiles, daring the Jewish people to know that they are being insulted, and oppose such actions, defeating the power of our foreign oppressors.
it is sad, that secular Jews dont understand that religious government is the only viable form of government for free Jews. A secular government does not provoke enough love of our nation, to stand up to the Jewish peoples foreign enemies. A secular government cannot resist the corruption that destroys so many nations, it does not have a valid pretense to promote morality, and it succumbs to domination through feelings, to what is most popular, because there are no temples whatsoever promoting logic, or morality. Sorry, it does not exist, your preferred form of government is not fit for purpose.

Besides, if leftist and secular Jews do not stand up to a massive identity group within our nation being persecuted by foreign agents, humiliating them. Then our union is ultra weak. Why should I care about arab muslims hurting left wing Israelis and Jews, if a majority of them do not care about muslims and left wingers hurting religious Jews? If a majority of left wing Israelis dont care about religious Jews getting hurt for standing up for the Jewish peoples land and religious rights in Judea and Samaria, why should right wing and religious Jews care about left wing kibbutznikim getting hurt?
We do believe in saving every Jew, even if you hate us, we care, even if you are mad because you cant make the gentiles care about the Jewish people, and you want to blame us. I hope these harsh words will pierce the censorship, and compel you to think about being fair to religious Jews. This spokesman of the IDF, is clearly representing the enemies of Israel. The reality is we are not even advocating for a theocracy right now, we are just calling for all of Israel to care, and be concerned that the spokesman for the IDF, the organization in charge of protecting your sons and daughters in the military, is displaying actions that imply he and by extension the entire IDF organization, are compromised in favor of our foreign adversaries. Have faith that G-d is more powerful than the IDF, even if they are flexing their foreign muscles before us. In G-d I trust.
